Crafted from Hāpopo pounamu sourced from Te Waipounamu, this mere carries the natural character and strength of stone formed over thousands of years. Traditionally a symbol of leadership, honour and connection, each piece is unique, reflecting the distinct colours and patterns of the pounamu itself.

Hāpopo pounamu takes its name from Kā Umu o Hāpopo (Big Bay) in South Westland, where this distinctive variety of pounamu is sourced. It is recognised for its rich green tones and natural mottled patterns, making each carving unique.
